Why else would the characters consistently be so abysmally slow and stupid unless it's consensual(?) murder play and they want to be killed in the most creatively gruesome ways their serial killer dom can think of?

    Truthfully, I mostly say things like that for shock value, but it is a genuine thought I've had at times.
