SNESkids don't realize how rad the Jak and Daxter games were

Comments

  • kill living beings
how is it possible to not see the radness of jak and daxter

    those games exude "rad"
  • My dreams exceed my real life
    You dumb: games are bad

Me smart: Games where ex-collectathon mascots shoot laser guns at dudes are good
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
everything after the SNES sucks, though
  • I liked the first Jak and Daxter.

I never played the other ones.
  • kill living beings
you missed out on a lot of car theft
  • image Wee yea erra chs hymmnos mea.
I still kinda wanna see the creative process that lead them to go from "fairly typical platformer world" to "authoritarian dystopia, also you have guns now."
  • "sneskids" is a weird way to frame this given that you're talking about games from two generations later

as a nintendo kid, I was slightly jealous of my PS2-owning friends but more for ratchet and clank than jak
  • Munch munch, chomp chomp...

    Same.
  • Sup bitches, witches, Haters, and trolls.
I kind of assume part of it is they had the dystopia idea and decided to add J&D to it later
  • Also for what it's worth, the Ratchet and Clank series they were more or less competing with... did have guns and such from the beginning but like it did get a lot more shooterier as it went on.

So maybe that was just a trend at that time.
