    chicken run rocks but it's Aardman

    i liked RotG, i thought it was a charming, sincere kids' film

    the first HTTYD was the best DWA film i've seen, the second i'd probably rate lower than both Croods and the first Shrek tbh

    Small Soldiers is from the original DreamWorks though

    well, Igor slightly rings a bell to me but only very vaguely

    I think The Road to El Dorado should be higher than that. It's probably the weakest of DW's early 2D films but it's still genuinely enjoyable and, sweet laird, the homoerotic subtext.

    I freely admit I didn't like Rise of the Guardians. It was up against the superior Wreck-It Ralph, and it tried too hard to launch a franchise, and I could feel it.

    The same year that came out, DWA bought Classic Media, who owns the rights to a bunch of old Rankin/Bass specials (they own the likeness of the R/B version of Frosty, may or may not own the likeness to their version of Rudolph, and they definitely own their versions of Kris Kringle and Peter Cottontail). Maybe they should milk those harder.

    There is no way Bee Movie is as bad as it has been made out to be. Everything about it sounds legitimately hilarious.

    Kex, trust me: it's better in concept than in execution. There are moments of genius here and there but it isn't worth filtering through the mess that is its nonsensical plot and the more questionable elements.

    I actually remember being a dumb child and enjoying it when it was in theaters, but retrospect has not been kind to the film at all.
