I asked a first grade class what they think should be on television.

Jamie Whitaker, age 6, told me, "I think you need a show where polar bears discuss The Issues."

And I responded, "now why is that, Jamie?"

He said, "Because polar bears are slowly being boiled to death by global warming, and it's you capitalists' fault. I think polar bears deserve a voice in the process."

I said back, "Now Jamie, not all of us capitalists are in league with each other. Some of us find the actions of other capitalists thoroughly repulsive!"

Jamie said to me, "You are still part of the owning class, the class that exploits and oppresses the workers for their own profit. You should turn control of television over to the people. I don't know if the polar bears will stop boiling to death if you do this, but I hope it would help. Or set off some sort of chain reaction resulting in such."
