Things I am interested in

I'm kind of half-expecting a snowclone of this topic with all the stuff Glenn is interested in.
Ask and ye shall receive!

FWIW, I'm not listing things that I one-off enjoyed but don't feel the need to continue paying attention to.

100% Orange Juice
The Tale of Alltynex
Castlevania series
Dysfunctional Systems series
Ether Vapor (Remaster edition)
Eureka Seven (but not the sequel)
eXceed 3rd (good gameplay, and an excuse plot where everyone is a gigantic jerk is kinda funny)
Homestar Runner (kinda...mainly Teen Girl Squad)
Kiddy Grade (but definitely not the sequel)
La-Mulana (soon to be a series)
Law & Order
the Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky series
Look Around You (but only season 1)
Mario series (kinda)
Mega Man series
Metroid series
Mutant Mudds
Nanoha series
Nethack
Pokémon series (kinda sorta...y'know, by this point, I can't claim this anymore.  never mind)
Pretty Cure series (sorta)
RWBY (for now, pending further review when...whenever) (now stop flaming me for being interested in this, I've already told you I don't love it, damnit)
Splatoon
Stealth Bastard
Team Fortress 2
Unholy Heights
Ys series
on average, doujin games in general
metroidvania games in general
in this day and age, platformers in general
games localized by Carpe Fulgur
games by WayForward, especially those with virt as composer

I'd throw in Veronica Mars except I have yet to actually watch a lot of it, and I've already made enough mistakes in the past believing I was interested in something only to find out I didn't like it that much.  Same for Aquaria and Astebreed.

I would say roguelikes, but the problem is that with a few exceptions, they're very attention-intensive.

Things I have a love-hate relationship with:
Evangelion series nah, these days I've just lost interest
Final Fantasy series
Madoka Magica series
Mai-HiME (I don't hate it completely but I don't feel like watching more, despite liking a couple characters, because the rest of the cast/story annoys me)
JRPGs, broadly speaking
shmups, broadly speaking
visual novels, broadly speaking

Once again, these lists are NOT to be construed as being:
* comprehensive
* judgements of quality
* at all unchanging, or changing with notice
