I kid you not. I am fine, but that was scary.

    Toaster oven is fine. Toast is a black hunk now.

    And before the pun is made, I would be totally OK with sexy men of African descent climbing out of my toaster oven, but that is not what I mean here.

    mine are literally the best thing

    I toast three slices at once and put two of the slices in one slot, which leaves the insides all chewy

    Put peanut butter on the outer pieces and jelly on the inner one, and boom, you've got heaven

    That happened to me once to, just w/ a regular toaster instead of a toaster oven.

    just make sure your toaster has slots that are wide enough before you do! mine is built to hold bagels, but some of the smaller ones might not be able to do it correctly so just keep that in mind

    toaster ovens should be fine for it tho, as long as they don't make your toast catch fire

    I once used a toaster oven on a piece of toast I'd bitten into, and that started burning the bitten edge, setting off the fire alarm in my apartment at around 2 AM.

    The only silver lining of that was that my landlords didn't hear the alarm.
