Regardless of the fact that it has a very fun name, it just bugs the shit out of me it just baffles me how there are booklets, rulings, societies and academic studies revolving around wearing thigh high socks.

I mean, do people overemphasize this stuff to troll people and confuse them? Do they legitimately crunch numbers and graph out this shit?
