The success of Adventure Time proves plagiarism is okay

A young boy adventures with the help of a magical wisecracking sidekick through a post-apocalyptic world caused by the introduction of magic to our world. There is more going on than it seems, and there is a tough girl character that has an unsettling amount of weird porn written about her.

What am I describing: Adventure Time or Nier Replicant?

Copy from one source, and you're a plagiarist. Copy from two sources, and you're a derivative hack. Copy from twenty sources, taking care to integrate all of them into a cohesive whole, and you'll be mistaken for original.
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.

You know, I hate to say it, but this is what's wrong with modern gaming publishers.

You present it like it's crtl, c;ctrl v.

This game has brown, shooting, and people of non-white origin being offensively portrayed and gunned down, people must like those things, copy and paste that.

Congratulations, you just made Call of Battlefield duty 5s.
  • man, even among AAAs you can find way more interesting stuff than call of duty shit, so why even care
