    How does Q get through one word without U?
    If I had to spell without U, what alphabet would that be?
    Oh I, I need U to spell "quill", need U for "quartz"
    And for other Q-ish words

    "Burqa" totally has a U in it :P

    Qibla and Qi...you know, it's hard to even type those, because I automatically hit U after Q out of habit

    ^^ Several of the words there, particularly the older ones using qh, seem to be substituting q for the obsolete letter ƿ ("wynn"), as in Qhythsontyd, which would in modern spelling be Whitsuntide.
