In the end people are just set up by life to fail. everything will fail eventually. So what difference does it make whether we're trying or not? Why have goals? Why have reason? Why even have society when it's doomed to fall apart or go to hell one way or another. Why is everyone still so ocnvinced tha tthe worls is worth fighting for? Everything will crumble around everyone eventually. then we'll all be alone and empty. It may happen slowly or all at once. But everything everyone ever knew or cared about will vanish or crumble or die.

generally i'd be inclined to disZgree. When everything is as broken as it is and has already fallen apart so much and crumbnled so much for so many people you start to wonder.

Eh, Humans have been screwing up in different ways since we arrived on this rock. We tend to get around to fixing our shit but making new problems that we have to fix, wash, repeat...

Still seems well keep on doing that for a while yet.

Also, if you're addressing the fact that everyone dies at some point. I believe most people either adopt a "live for a moment" attitude or figure what they can do to improve the world for their loved ones that will out last them.

I defy failure. My life does not revolve around predicting when I am going to fail, but to reflect back how long it took for me to get there.

I am going to be old and wrinkly eventually. My vagina is eventually going to become elastic. My eyes are eventually going to dull and lose their accuracy. My lips are eventually going to curl and dry up, and my energy is going to plummet to nothing.

But I am not become that now. I am still young, beautiful and energetic. I know eventually I won't be, but until then, I am going to enjoy my life and do things.
