Politicians scratch Harry Baals

Harry Baals was a man famous for being one of the best mayors of the city of Fort Wayne, Indiana. During his term, Baals shrunk taxes and erected the still-functioning city sewage treatment plant. As such, it came as no surprise when the citizens of Fort Wayne voted for HARRY BAALS to be displayed on a government building. Prominent city officials, however, rejected the name. They stated that outsiders might not take kindly to such a shameless display of Harry Baals. Harry Baals does, however, continue to leave his stain on the sea of men, women and children living in Fort Wayne.

For those interested, the erection was named "Citizens Square" instead.
