I don't know why, but I expect people with more education than me to be more eloquent than I was when I was 12.

Avanworden continually defies these expectations.

  • Living tissue over endoskeleton.
It almost reads like freestyle poetry.
  • Our nu-fash culture warriors require respect 4 Batman and HBO soaps but denounce relational art as self indulgent & degenerate.

fascist echoes also in reverence 4 infantile manipulative entertainment commodities alongside bigoted, juvenile, ignorant attacks on artists

I demand to have this explained to me.

  • My dreams exceed my real life
Things most people and especially nerds like are bad, capitalist and fascist. Relational art is not bad and fascist.
  • That actually makes less sense.

Seriously, I could not live like this. Spending apparently all of my free time, thinking, really, really hard about absolutely everything. Regardless of how insane this particular person may or may not be.

How do these people sleep at night? Or do they just like, not?

  • My dreams exceed my real life
Avanworden hates Zizek, Batman, HBO, Zizek, fascism, people who tell him to actually watch the TV shows he calls fascist  Zizek, capitalism, Breaking Bad, people who enjoy nerd stuff, Zizek, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Zizek.

He likes Black Power, socialism, 1960s and 1970s TV, and Relational Art
  • what the fuck is Relational Art

other than a good title for a jazz album

  • My dreams exceed my real life
That's a very good question, I have absolutely no idea.
  • THIS MACHINE KILLS FASCISTS
But Zizek supposedly is a Communist... *boggles*
  • My dreams exceed my real life
Just because two people both identify as communists doesn't mean they can't have highly different opinions on important things. Just look at Stalin and Trotsky, not that I'm implying either Zizek or Avanworden are Stalin.
  • THIS MACHINE KILLS FASCISTS
True, true, it just strikes me as weird these these days because Communism seems so niche now. You think it'd be more homogeneous.

As for relational art, it does seem to be a real movement and not just a nonce word, but Garden isn't letting me cut and paste on my phone. :P

    "
because Communism seems so niche now" Not in the circles these people move in buddy.
  • i wish to come up with a song lyric for this signature, but no song lyrics are coming to mind
i just can't handle all these buzzwords

    THIS MACHINE KILLS FASCISTS
Oh, that guy, greeeeat. :| He can kiss my mainstream ass! XD

(Warning: Lee is trying to channel Oancitizen. He will probably fail. That is all.)

As for what he does like, the "relational art" thing sounds like it'd tie into classic hip-hop culture pretty well; concerts, tagging, stuff like that, things where you can interact with the artist and other people.

If what he's complaining about is TV having no decent back channel to the producers or writers, then I can't really hold that against him, since TV was a pretty closed environment until the rise of digital production in the 1990s and YouTube in the 2000s. If it's more of a "The End of the Creator-Driven Era" rant about how TV isn't True Art unless it's the vision of a starving artist making all his capital from a Kickstarter or something, then...whatever, dude, TV production in the US was pretty much started by indie producers because no one else would touch it before the 1960s.
  • My dreams exceed my real life
That might be why he thinks 1960s TV was better.

    "
I am truly puzzled about how she becomes the adored fuhrer of 100 multibillionaires. I know it's a movie fantasy but even so, implausible."

Don't you love how he can Godwin so easily and with so little remorse.

Also his hatecrush on Zizek is kind of creepy.
