I'm giving it some thought.

So far this seems like a weird situation that maybe wasn't handled in the best way, not quite something I think warrants nuking the thread....yet.

If this pattern continues for much longer, or Odradek thinks this thread has outlived it's usefulness, I'll close it.

So, after deliberation with the staff, we've decided to keep this closed for now.

Though several of us feel that this page has a few good and bad examples of how to get a thread closed.

PMing a staff member to voice your reasoning for closing the thread is a good way to go about it, but this page has a stupid amount of drama and basically forced the issue in way we'd very much like to not happen in the future.
