    Okay.

    I feel like people discuss the leads in the Mario franchise as though they are interesting and intriguing despite, for the most part, very deliberately not being so (Luigi and Bowser have grown to be exceptions)

    And I am drawing parallels to my experiences with Lemmy's Land, a Koopaling fansite, as a youngun

    the Koopalings are kind of one-note, haven't appeared in a while, and are lizard-turtle people

    while you could argue that the princesses are also kinda of one-note, they appear quite often, and are cute girls.
