Baba O'Riley is the most annoying song in the universe because it comes on and there's that synth arpeggio and for a minute you're like "hell yes, synth arpeggio, this is gonna kick ass" and then you realize "oh fuck it's that Teenage Wasteland song" JUST as the guitar kicks in

    this is how i remember it too, although i haven't listened to it in forever

    tbh it was never one of my favourites of theirs
