Question

Why is this song from a musical nobody under 60 has ever seen a Christmas Classic?

Comments

  • For once, or maybe twice, I was in my prime.
For what it's worth, I'd never heard of it until I listened to Sufjan Steven's cover version. I thought it was one he wrote himself until I looked in the liner notes.
  • because it fucking SLAPS, that's why
  • real talk im pretty sure ive never heard this before this exact moment?

    (still slaps tho)
  • extremely not so but maybe just a tad yes

When someone leaves a christmas radio station on long enough, this will occasionally come up

Sometimes it's some lame version not sung by Angela Lansbury though
  • ...And even when your hope is gone
move along, move along, just to make it through

I like how this song, in addition to being flawless and exquisitely amazing, is exactly three minutes long.

    It's a perfect three-minute timer!  Hooray!

I get WHY it's popular it is just always odd to me when there's a song from a musical that's way more popular than the musical itself

Still not as weird as One Night In Bangkok
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
One Night in Bangkok is a good song, though
