Last time I made it I put way too much cinnamon but this time I got it right and it was good.

I just threw like half a teaspon of cinnamon into my french press with the coffee grounds.

I usually do cinnamon, nutmeg, and a bit of cloves when brewing coffee. I just add it in with the grounds so you don't get any grainy bits in your cup. It's quite good.

Though the internet claims cinnamon in coffee is a substitute for sugar, but I tried it and felt like it still needed sugar.

I'm usually a black coffee kind of person unless I'm getting a specialty desert-style kind of coffee. Then bring on the sugar, whip cream, et cetera.
