AOTC digs its tendrils a little deeper. It feels at once completely pointless and yet inordinately important to understanding what's going on in the trilogy

I know the Trade Federation stuff came of out left field. I barely understood it back in 1999, and I didn't care enough for the movie to watch it again and figure it out. 

As for the Mac, the big fear back then was that the Mac would drop the brushed aluminum and turn into the same kind of gaudy black box that most high-end PCs had become, complete with the funny-car stickers ("intel inside" was a commonly mentioned one) a lot of cheap PCs use.

I wouldn't be so quick to trust the Mid Rim tabloids.  They're always assuming romantic relationships.

Boles Roor's birthday was a couple days ago, and he's been a mutual acquaintance of Swift and Sebulba for years.
