Nothing against her music, but how did we let this happen? This like waking up one morning and finding out that Regina Spektor is the biggest pop star on the planet, and she's battling it out with Joanna Newsom for the #1 spot.

Sia herself isn't even comfortable with this.

I quite like Regina Spektor, although I am more familiar with her earlier work than anything recent.

Also, one of her cousins is Christian rocker Pete Furler, formerly of the Newsboys and currently of Steve Taylor & The Perfect Foil. Who have collaborated with Daniel Smith—making two degrees of separation between Sia and the Danielson Famile.
