DAE think the "Percentage of memories that are false=100%" factoid relies on a dodgy epistemology?

i don't believe i've ever heard this factoid

what is the reasoning for it?
  • My dreams exceed my real life
Almost nothing happens precisely the way we think it did, and nothing is a 100% accurate in memories.

According to the people who say this.

    Hm.

i see the epistemological issue here but at the same time i think the claim being made here is one that has some decent empirical support?  i think of Elizabeth Loftus' work on the subject.
  • the idea that anything not 100% true is false is weird

how about the idea that everything not 100% false is true

Or simply that the true parts are true and the false parts are false?
