    I saw a few of them, then forgot about it for a few years, then remember wondering why they were still making them after the ninth or tenth one came out

    The weird thing is that I think I remember the sequels better than the original film, though I'm pretty sure the first one came out before I was born so that's probably why

    The sequels were generally more upbeat, whereas the original was very "wow, your mom just died and the world is literally going up in flames around you. Also, good luck finding anything at all to eat, sucker."

    Watched one of these as a kid.  Barely remember it.  Other than that it had some drama in it.

    The main reason it came back into my radar recently is because of the "Yee" meme, which uses footage from the LBT knockoff "Dinosaur Adventure".

    the original was really good, as i recall

    when i was a kid i liked the sequels (as far as i watched, we stopped getting them past a certain point) but idk if they'd hold up for me now or not
