The Heaper's Hangout Hunger Games: The Reboot

It's that time again when I create 8 Sims based of Heapers, put them in a house and systematically kill them off one by one until one emerges the victor and has PTSD for life.

Whilst we are waiting, let me break down exactly how everything's going to work:

Prologue: Sims are left to do as they please for 24 Sim hours. They can eat, sleep, shower, watch TV, make friends or enemies, the choice is theirs. What they do in those 24 hours will determine how well they survive the next upcoming stages.

Stage One - Hunger: After 24 Sim hours, the fridge will be deleted. It will be put back once two Sims have perished.

Stage Two - Drowning: Immediately after Stage One, Sims will be placed into a walled up swimming pool. The wall will be removed once two more Sims have perished.

At this point, to save any Sims from prematurely dying, the remaining four Sims will have time to recover and mourn the others. As soon as their hunger and sleep levels are no longer red, it's time for Stage Three.

Stage Three - Fire: The four remaining Sims will be paired up into twos and placed into a fire pit, where a fire will be set alight. The last two Sims remaining will go onto Stage Four.

Stage Four - Eletrocution: The final stage will see the two remaining Sims trying to fix broken household appliances. The first one to get electrocuted to death loses, leaving one Sim the victor.

I chose electrocution as the final stage because there is an element of surprise in it. The other three stages all have a countdown to death, with Sims getting moodlets letting me know how many hours/minutes away from death they are. With electrocution, it's not so simple. Sims will have to be electrocuted twice in order to die, and there's no way of knowing when it'll exactly happen.

It does mean that if you were to die in Stage One, you would die by thirst instead of starvation, as Sims vampires don't eat food, they drink plasma juice.

And drinking from other Sims will be banned.

Gwyndolyn doesn't seem to realise that as a vampire, she can't stay out in the sun. I can't tell her to go indoors because it's currently at the prologue, where Sims are left in free will for 24 Sim hours and I have no control over them.

Let's hope she realises soon before she burns up.

The four Sims who died of Starvation (and Thirst) all died within minutes of each other. If I hadn't have stepped in and added a fridge, they all would have died in one fell swoop. And where's the fun in that?
