I know this is petty of me, but part of me is kinda annoyed that Tilda Swinton still looks traditional-looking.
If you’re going to cast a white woman in that role, just go all the way and make her like Death.
I am disappointed at what feels like a "taming" of the psychedelic look of Dr. Strange comics by converting it into either vague Tibetan kung fu aesthetics or Inception aesthetics.
But everyone already knows what I feel blah blah blah, I do believe that all the actors playing the principle roles are talented, but that's true for most Marvel movies.
FWIW, I agree with you on this one (and in general about the MCU), Myr.
I mostly just wanted to get that specific thought I had about Tilda Swinton being the Ancient One out. I will stress that I have nothing against Swinton as an actor, either.
also, in comparison to ghost in the shell, i'm glad almost nobody's mad about death note, because that's a series in which a character named wataru turns out to be a british dude named quillsh wammy
With demagogues promoting death as the solution to society's woes everywhere, I think Death Note's story remains as relevant today as it was when it was first released.
The Wicked Wands of Watoomb are five mystical artifacts from varying dimensions in the Marvel Universe all bearing the same name.[1] They are one-foot long crystalline batons with demonic heads carved on either end.
Objects of near-omnipotent power, each Wand is controlled by mere thoughts of its user, primarily for enhancing, multiplying, gathering, focusing, and redirecting mystical energies. They can be used to block mystical attacks, and use the energy absorbed to either heal the wielder, unleash a damaging blast, or erect a defensive barrier. They can also be used to control the elements, open portals to other dimensions, and allow the wielder to scry any person, place, or thing they are familiar with.

and learning more would require reading comics or about comics, and like, no, man.
