Like I had two different versions of that posts planned out, going first into how you would feel if someone posted random snippets of you for the purpose of having them be publicly mocked, then I tried saying something about how I, as an actor, really don't like when people single out actors and mock them in a distinctly unhelpful way but in the end? The long and short of it is that you're just being pretty damn mean.

I don't mind it. Others do because, correct or not (I haven't played Her Story so I won't comment), it still looks mean, is all.

I don't think you would be because the dumb plastic baby is fake, but eh.

Also I'm still relatively interested in Her Story, maybe buy it in the future when it's on sale. Played one game by this dude, probably played them all, or something.

It's because you have a history of going on and on about how much everyone else likes Her Story and you don't and imply that anyone who did like it is pretentious or stupid, so making a whole thread about some minor issue in it leaves a bad taste in people's mouths.

You're allowed to not like popular things, but this kind of non-stop contrarian "I am the only sane person in a world of fools and madmen" schtick is really irritating and, honestly, reminds me of the sort of people that you complain about.

Okay, but... you definitely did not only bring it up once, I am trying to tread carefully because I remember you being understandably upset with how quickly things spiraled and you were just not handling it well at all which sucked. You were also being really aggressive to Kex who responded pretty harshly to it for reasons that were/are rather clear, notably the investment in acting (not that I entirely agreed but it was understandable), which then got worse. I still kind of don't care about - actually no, by now I don't care at all about Her Story, though I saw it on IRC too. It's also kind of difficult to talk about this stuff, least for me, when the post contents were blanked.

Like, there was so much negative directed towards the game, far past the point of it being in the public eye as much, so a thread like this already had the deck stacked against it.

But a discussion could be cool.
