IDK where I'm going with this.

Verdandi's Ichor
Description: Verdandi's Ichor is a sickly green slime of around the same consistency and texture as glue. Skin contact is perfectly harmless - Verdandi's Ichor is only dangerous once ingested. Ingestion leaves the target incredibly susceptible to commands from others, putting their base consciousness into a stupor. What sets Verdandi's Ichor apart from other methods of mind control is that one can command the target to use all of their skills, including ones that would normally need them to be conscious. This includes knowledge and - most importantly - the target's magic spells. Verdandi's Ichor does this by drawing upon the target's unconscious mind. An individual can key the Ichor to themselves using their mana, leaving the target susceptible only to their commands.

  • Magic was discovered about 200 years ago and has drastically impacted society since. Some tech is Late Victorian-period Britain, some of it is up to 1950s-or-so America and some of it (like medical care via healing magic) is more advanced than even today.
