YOU WILL NEVER MAKE A CUTTING-EDGE SERIES EVERYONE WILL LOVE.

Those little story notes, storyboards, character bios and story grids you write in your free time? You aren't going to do anything with them.

You aren't doing anything with them now.

You can aim to be an animator or a producer of one of your favorite projects you want to see hit the big screen, delivering a whole universe of fantasy, science-fiction, or whatever you desired, and have your artwork and story revolutionize the entire industry in the process...

But that's going to take a lot of money, and a lot of time, and a lot of networking, a lot of heart-break, comprimises, rewrites, property right relinquishment, dropped premises, rewritten characters, executive cock-sucking and general disappointment. Running away to another country won't help you escape from this either. Your beloved work will be driven into the dust and forgotten when more marketable ideas come marching in, and the producers you wish to help you will take them, every time.

You will save all of your projects in their own folder, building them up, daydreaming about different climaxes and twists to add while listening to your iPod.

But it's all just a glorified daydream.

You will never make a cutting edge series everyone will love.

If you do want to make something like that...you are going to have to try harder than you are now.
