Did Lando do the right thing by betraying Han Solo to the Empire

  • I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
I always thought the implications of spending three years of one's life trapped in carbonite were disturbing
  • i always wondered about how many encasement fetishes that led to over the years
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
It seemed he didn't have much of a choice.
  • My dreams exceed my real life

    two kinds of people
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
    Like in a coma.
  • For once, or maybe twice, I was in my prime.
There was no "right thing" in Lando's scenario. He made the choice that he felt was less horrible.
  • Yeah, it was either

    • I agree. Han (a minor player) gets caught and I get to keep Leia safe (remember that Lando didn't see the "altered the deal" part coming)
    or
    • I disagree. Vader chokes me to death and takes them anyway.

Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
They didn't seem like that good friends until Return anyway, after Lando passed the point of no return.
