In all those assorted Alien sequels and AvP movies, what does Weyland-Yutani actually want to DO with the xenomorphs? Synthesize their blood-acid?

    weyland yutani has a Department of Xenobiology that was created so that one of the board's nieces could get an executive position. when she found out about xenomorphs she got someone to write up a glowing report about possible applications, and they trebled the size of the department. and so on

    As far as meaningless corporate names go, I've always liked "Eastman Kodak" because Eastman was the person who started the company and "Kodak" was just a word he made up.
