I know this girl who won't stop munching box and I wish she would stop.

Said girl is our cat, Integral Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing "Beefcake" "Beef" Sauby.

Every time she sees a cardboard box, she can't help but munch on it.

What should I do?

try and entice her with kitty treats or get her a catnip toy or something or remove the cardboard boxes entirely?

Our dog has the same problem. Plastic bottles, cardboard boxes, he'll chew on anything. He particularly likes empty Coke bottles.

Our cat eats ants. Just straight up pounces on them.

Cats eating bugs isn't really notable. I think most do when given the chance.

Maybe unless they're mousers. If they're hunting bigger game on a regular basis, I could understand why they'd give less of a shit.

I'd wish our cats would eat ants. We keep on having ant problems in our houses.

Though, this one so far is ant free.

Also, the cats might be eating ants when I'm not looking. I've just never seen one of them do it.

My family back home has two cats. One is an alpha-male mouser, and the other is an indoor scaredy-cat. She's really skittery and timid, and she spends a lot of time hiding when strangers are around. It's kind of funny to see her become deadly hunter when bugs are around, though.

Beef figured out I left a random box out in our den.

It's a little early for her to start munching box, but I think she'll get to it after she's had more sleep.
