  Partially true, but the Slavo-Peruvian school is the one that took off internationally (for better or worse, but that discussion is always kind of terrible).

  No particular reason, I just chose things that would seem unlikely or dissonant at first glance. The joke is that I'm discussing an internationalist activity in terms bound to states and cultural identification; the pretension of it all is for authenticity.
