word filters are always bad imo, only good for jokes like "Banach-Tarski" --> "Banach-Tarski Banach-Tarski", and even that'd get old fast

they mess stuff up, since they can obscure what was actually said and make discussions harder to follow

plus you can always just install ponify or whatever if there are phrases you personally would prefer to avoid
