I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
I somehow figured Kmart had retreated enough to be a place where people didn't really shop, but then again they seem to be found exclusively in low-income neighborhoods now...

same tbh
the ubiquity it once had seems to have been taken pretty much singlehandedly by Target

huh?
how would a store stay open if no one shopped at it?
^^ That's nice enough, but that's more about appropriating the colour combinations and general "idea" of what jungle camo looks like and changing the shapes and feel than explicitly imitating the patterns used.
Any of y'all seen the Multicam / OCP camouflage pattern that the US Army is in the middle of switching over to? Whenever I look at any camo pattern, I unconsciously start trying to make sense of the pattern, like determining which colors are "background" and which are "foreground". That's impossible to do with OCP, because of how it has color gradients in addition to splotches. Looking at it too long kind of screws with my head.
Well, naturally. The point is to disrupt the brain's ability to detect the outline of the wearer and any basic judgement of shape or size. It's really quite nifty.
