I don't necessarily like 231, but I don't think it's necessarily bad. In fact, I think it serves a similar purpose to what Abel does: a boundary. No SCP can be more overtly flashy and powerful than Able. Likewise, no aspect of an SCP can be more ghastly or sexually violent or personally damning to everyone involved than 231 and Procedure 110-Montauk.

I was very interested in the bits that weren't 110-Montauk or stuff added to justify 110-Montauk. Supposed to be weird in-story conspiracy stuff involved in it.
I like SCP-173, before and after the game based around it (and later, other SCP). I don't really check the wiki as much as I would like, partially because it's difficult finding stuff I'd like, and there's just so much stuff I'm not sure how to go through it. I do like SCP-136 and SCP-706, and those other SCP in this, though.
Honestly, 231 is what got me into the SCP foundation to begin with.
I understand the inclination to view "edgy sexual violence" with derision, but in this case the moral fallout is fully dramatized. It's entirely appropriate. It's not about the form; it's about the function.
As for SCPs in general I don't really have any preference save that they're interesting, and 90% of the time they are. At any rate the site's format is a phenomenal experiment in nontraditional fiction.
Use Scp 84 to dispose of toxic waste. Experiment with scp 254. Kill the indestructible reptile with scp 1407.
It is fun to click Random SCP. Scp 636 is fascinating. It mentions a rag with blood from no known animal. Maybe this is connected to the indestructible reptile.
