This movie was... actually pretty good? It has some interesting secular humanist themes which isn't what I was expecting from an Italian Giallo film noted for it's gore effects, and the central mystery is engaging.
I have seen very little Fulci, but I have heard that he is a lot deeper than one would be conditioned to think given his predilection for extreme grotesquerie.
I'm going to stare at a blank white wall for four hours while filming myself, then I will film myself watching the film. I will both be and experience art simultaneously.
