  better bass test: whether you can hear the (not really all that low) bass note in "Hito shirezu, kage ga yuku" from Symphogear OST1.

  best bass test: just open up a daw, pull up something that gives you a sine wave and see how low you can go before you can't hear/feel anything

  
  

  this is also useful for telling if there's any unwanted distortion going on in your setup somewhere
