For some reason I've always been fascinated by signs accompanied by flashing lights.
Sometimes they only flash to indicate that the sign's message is currently applicable:
(Delaware, Ohio)
(Newnan, Georgia)
(Minerva Park, Ohio)
(Reynoldsburg, Ohio)
Other times they serve to provide emphasis to an always-applicable sign by drawing attention to it:
(Pataskala, Ohio)
(New Albany, Ohio)
Anyway, I thought it might be cool to go around and find as many different kinds of signs I can accompanied by flashing lights, then compile them into a web page of some sort. Would that be of interest to anyone besides me?

I don't have anything I can think of to contribute, but I would indeed be interested to see the different ways in which flashing lights are used on signs.
the 62 again. I've posted this before but if you look past the 62 here you'll see a pedestrian warning diamond sign with really bright-ass LEDs. Past that and the scope of this picture is this rather bizarre speed limit warning sign that uses this bizarre and really bright circular blue light thing to get your attention. I'll grab a photo of that next time I'm down there, if you'd like.
Oh, neat! I actually know of one place that has stop signs with flashing LEDs in the border like that--they added a stop sign in the middle of an existing road and wanted to try everything they could to draw attention to it!
