I have the strangest desire to play with a slot-car racing set.

SL, I found the name of that book I was talking about the other day, it's How to Draw Anything by Mark Linley, it sacrifices depth for breadth to an extent, but it's an excellent introduction with lots of advice that's intuitive (IMO) and the author's style is very readable. Also it has a whole chapter dedicated to drawing cats.

I dunno why, it just seems like it fits them better. One on the right's a little too clean but I can understand why they changed it, the "etallic" in the original is rather unfitting within the M and A. (Though really, that can just be chalked up to being the C's fault. We can let one letter slide.)
