  I was thinking about setting my novels in Philadelphia. Well, a fantasy version of it where superheroes and/or Marvel-style mutants are a thing.

  (Denver isn't really a sports town. People here love the Broncos, but that is it. It doesn't help that our other pro teams seem to enjoy relevance, at most, once a decade)

  You could literally set that anywhere. And seeing as I don't think you've ever been here, I think there's a lot of room for you to get things really, really wrong.

  Honestly when I think "sports-obsessed" my mind immediately goes to Texas, but you'd have to ask Epitome about how true that is.
