Maybe it's :thejoke:, but BTTF wasn't produced with a sequel in mind. The ending was supposed to be comedic, and you can tell in the sequel that they kinda wrote themselves into a corner in a few ways. (Note how they ditch Jennifer as soon as the plot allows them to.)

Well, the second and third films were filmed together and the second one basically advertises the third one inside it, so he's not wrong to point that out.

I was actually intending on pointing it out myself but wanted to dig up an even older example if I could one instead. I then forgot about this thread until Bee's post. :V
