  reading older Peanuts strips can be kinda weird if you're only used to the late-period stuff.
  
  my grandma used to have some books of the early strips and it was a revelation just to see how the style changed over the years...

  I like how the storyline just keeps going making a weird kind of surreal semi-sense until it reaches a nonsensical conclusion.

  It's almost a Kafka setup in just how the absurdity escalates, plateaus, almost lulls, then reaches a crescendo.

  Anyone else would've turned Mad into Generic Clickbait Site #500 by now, so as inadequate as they are, they may unfortunately be the best possible owners of it at this time.
