Space Travel & The Colonization of the Stars
Does anyone else really like the idea of colonizing other planets and things like that?
I've had what I can charitably describe as a fixation on the idea for a very long time now, and I am not sure why.

Colonization within my lifetime seems unlikely. A revitalization and commercialization of space travel, there ya go.

It would take a mighty long time to train so many people to handle space and training them to like, not mess up anything important on the spacecraft.

if I were to ever do such a movie, it'd be a sort of pseudo-documentary courtesy of Future!National Geographic (Interplanetary Geographic?) about Earth and how she's changed since we left her.

See this is why I'd suck at making movies. I wouldn't want them to have a message if at all possible, I'd just like to be like "hey look at this thing, it's pretty neat isn't it?"

In fact, it is one of my favorite shows ever. Period.
Unless I remember wrong, The Future Is Wild's conceit was that humanity willingly left.
At least the American version, the British version didn't touch on what happened to us at all.
