to understand why the pics are funny you have to know who Swerve is, and outside of the specific niche of fans who read the IDW comics, he's a rather obscure character.

Mulaney on the whole is a so so comedian but this and the Salt and Pepper Diner bit are some of the best comedy I've ever heard

Also preeeeeetty sure he made up the "it's the one thing they can't replace" part, still funny either way
