    MovieBob's retrospective on those Batman movies was good.

    Essentially, B&R wasn't GOOD but it mainly achieved legendarybad status because of homophobia.

    Pretty much.

    Also I think Uma Thurman and Arnold Schwarzenegger's performance in that film are fun and campy. Robin, Batman, and Batgirl are all a snore though.

    I remember seeing a bit of Batman & Robin on a monitor at a store once, and wondering what the fuss was about. If nothing else, it didn't go down to "BAM! POW!" level (though I'm sure Schumacher would have done it if he thought he could get away with it; hell, Dick Tracy pretty much went there, and I adored that movie).

    Also...B&R was one of the NC's first episodes, and while the stuff he did in 2009 and 2010 wasn't quite as rough around the edges, back in 2007 or 2008 Doug was still getting into the role, and you could tell.
