    "WTOP-TV" to "WDVM-TV" is to me one of the worst callsign changes ever, thank god Gannett changed that to "WUSA"

    Having now watched the video...is there some kind of regulation that stations that aren't co-owned can't share the same call letters?

    In 1978 there was. That wasn't undone until the mid '90s, I don't think.
