pretty much any programming debate, but especially ones where $MY_FAVORITE_LANG will solve all your problems and make you pizza if you just give it a chance
I think I may have a few to add to the list. I am totally fine with people expressing their opinions on these topics, I just dislike when they are phrased in such a way to make it seem like a certain opinion is wrong and another one right, since there is a good bit of subjectivity to them.
FMA vs. FMA: Brotherhood
Melee vs. Brawl
Debates about the cause of anime's "decline" ("moe shows" usually come up)
i wish we could just wait for the one in five Sonic game that is actually good instead of the internet constantly going into this weird dance whenever one is announced where people are simultaneously hyped for no reason and also bitterly sure it's going to be literally the worst game ever made
Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
"Why doesn't Batman just kill the Joker?"
"What does Mr. Fantastic keep from humanity?"
"Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex."
"Why do they keep Hawkeye around?"
"Why does Professor X like to watch teenagers sweat?"
The reasons I hate all of these goddamn things is that these things are likely all older than all of us. You'd think that being 30+ years old would stop people from asking these goddamn stupid questions.
Hillary vs Bernie. For a lot of reasons, but mainly because Hillary isn't even really campaigning yet (in the sense of publicly making speeches or other big, visible moves anyway)--she's mostly just doing quiet behind-the-scenes stuff, meeting donors and setting up infrastructure. There's really not a lot to talk about yet besides rehashing the same stuff over and over again.
(Granted, this is because I hang out on a politics forum and it gets repetitive and derails threads a lot. Just like any other fandom.)
More people have said that and been killed than there are thorium decay products.
I fail to understand why people are still following Sonic. Sometime in the mid-2000s it should have been plainly obvious that Sega didn't care very much anymore.
