I've been told to broaden my horizons a lot, and it's time to take heed of that.

On my sketch comedy/sitcom hybrid show Cirque du Yogi, I have several recurring segments that are genre exercises: Quick Draw McGraw (western), Buckley the Eagle (superhero/espionage), Secret Squirrel (espionage), and Snooper & Blabber (detective). But I'm terribly insular. I have more experience with those genres as seen through the lens of animation than the genres themselves!

    I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
    It doesn't help that my version of Quick Draw has an aesthetic that's a combination between steampunk and Mexican art that I have no clue how to swing.

    Quick Draw McGraw is perhaps my favorite Hanna-Barbera creation anyway, so westerns come first!

    I have not seen many westerns.

    Of the Westerns I've seen, my favorite was probably The Proposition though that's very much not the "fun" kind of Western.

    Also it's set in Australia.

    If you want, I can recommend some westerns too. Though most of the westerns I know are spaghetti westerns.
