    Adolf stood a solitary figure in the bunker. His wife, his beautiful wife - oh Eva - had passed just minutes earlier. It was better this way. Soviet forces approached the shelter, the hiding-place, Hitler was disheartened. As he lifted the hard barrel to his right temple, he felt the cold press of impending demise chill through his skull. He pulled the trigger, instant blackness, after hesitantly muttering his last few shaken words: “So much for the tolerant left”.
