Alright, here’s a partial summary of my POV as set up using 5 basic points for my solutions to various types of issues. I noticed I had some left-wingers and libertarians following me.
General ideology: Reactionary, the techno-commercialist wing. I was redpilled by Moldbug. The tl;dr. version is this: optimize for intelligence, optimize for asabiyyah(As much as possible in a declining civilization) and select for a higher quality population.
Dark enlightenment chart position: Connected to the political philosophy people via Moldbug, Idegoria, Nydwracu, Spandrell, James Donald and the Techno-commercialists via Nick Land.
Trichotomy position: The techno-commercialist branch, with some sympathies to the ethno-nationalist branch(Supporting omniseperatism) and willing to allow theonomists their own country.
Detailed description below: Under construction, but a few categories are done so here is the completed categories.
Note: My ideas are US-specific so keep that in mind.
Economics
Summary: The goals are threefold — free up capital, move to a volkish economy and make it so that people no longer live to work but instead work to live since various scams and other malinvestment(tablets, bloated computer programs, suburbia, “Web 2.0”, telemarketing, smartphones, the “college cult”, fast food, etc) that waste resources and make life increasingly either difficult(It doesn’t have to be barriers to entry, but things that cause people to get into extortionate debts like say pawn shops will do it) or annoying for people will be gone.
1) Get rid of 90% of the regulatory state. What regulation that remains would see a good chunk of it being to promote better aesthetics and a more localized/regionalized business environment via discouraging chains. Higher prices, a bit more inefficiency but also a volkish economy that’s not dominated by cookie-cutter megacorporations producing garbage. The other purpose for these regulations would be promoting both increased low or medium-skilled employment along with pushing companies to invest in R&D.
2) Give everyone a citizen’s dividend — say 12 grand a year for citizens. This means everyone, from the fattest plutocrat to the most bestial detroit knave gets their $12k a year distributed without riders or qualifications. Couple this with a one-time buyout of people’s estimated medicare/medicaid/social security/welfare/other sundry payouts — pay everyone either the average or what they’d be expected to get based on their contribution whichever is higher. Once everyone has gotten this buyout, then begin a process of tapering off the non-citizens dividend programs 10% a year. A fast cutoff would just get you marxist revolution and or a sudden dieoff.
3) Move to an actual hard currency. The basic concept of bitcoin is sound, so something like that. It gets you the benefits of gold, but without the risk of gold suddenly becoming no longer a reliable store of value if asteroid mining takes off. Fix the initial number of Tehcoins at whatever the actual amount of money in the economy was pre-takeover and slowly deflate from there to a lower level. Perhaps wither 1913 or 1860 might work as goals.
4) Get rid of credentialism for the most part. Limit it to jobs with actual reasons for it and I don’t include “to keep doctors/lawyers overpaid and overworked” as a valid reason. Make any such licensing requirements involve passing a test and not be able to be limited/monopolized by any organization. As part of this, set up functional healthcare system combining the best models from around the developed world — some sort of singlepayer with letting people buy insurance/pay for care with cash as an option. Once you’ve cleared up the problem of licensing the cost will drop to make it affordable.
5) Have a clear and simple 30% VAT. No exemptions, no deductions or other ways to game it. A 10% flat income tax, with the only deductions being for having dependent children(in today’s economy, we’re going to have to factor it in until whatever age is the average for completing a PhD.(this bit is sarcasm, plus an added incentive to have multiple children)) if you’re intelligent(1 kid = 1%(parents are 110 and up)2%(120 and up),3%(130 and up),5%(140 and up) with it being potentially possible to get down to 0%(2 140+ IQ parents having 4 kids).
The dire problem
Summary: 80% or so of the economy consists of interactions done in hopes of getting money so you can either continue avoiding dumb proles, or if you are a low-IQ prole getting away from other dumb proles. Much of the rest consists of status signalling to indicate that You’re Not One of Those People. This fact, combined with the rising power of automation spells trouble for even the near-term future when you factor in the declining average IQ. Therefore, the goals would be to raise the quality of the population over time. Besides reducing various economic issues and easing the transition to automation(compare the responses to 90% technological unemployment in a society of 80-90 as the average to one of 120), this allows to save on health costs(see: Dysgenics by richard Lynn).
1) Start up a eugenics program to improve the quality of the population. Initially start off with liberal/voluntary measures and over time ramp it up. Lynn’s idea of 15 points per generation is probably overly optimistic, but it shouldn’t be too hard to get a point or two upwards per decade without being too intrusive or authoritarian — look to how jewish groups have reduced Tay-sachs or other diseases.
2) Change immigration policy to involve fewer people and the few let in being 90% east asian, european or wealthy latin america(their rich people are mostly full or mostly euro descent). We can let in a (very few) number of say non-muslim southeast.asians or south asians or christian arabs who fit the qualification. Actively assimilate what immigrants we get, as well as the underclasses of the west(the dalits/antyaja castes) to civilized norms.
3) Make costs of abortion scale up as you go up the socioeconomic ladder. Free for the bottom of the social ladder, but slowly rising to where it becomes expensive. Birth control and condoms will be free for all of course. With modern forms of propaganda, social shaming and the improvements in birth control it should be possible to make teen pregnancy, along with clearly unwed pregnancy something shameful enough to make regional news. This would also have positive effects in discouraging the “has 9 different baby daddies” culture.
4) Do a comprehensive study, and quantify exactly what skills you get from say a HS diploma, averaged out STEM degree, averaged out non-STEM college degree, averaged out non-STEM grad school, averaged out STEM grad school then quantiify. Do similar studies for various type of employment or qualifications. Then set up free schools to teach these as essentially proctored learning centers(See: fringeelements’ videos on education) to let people learn at their own pace. Bright young people graduating at 13 or 14 and getting to start life early means they’ll be able to be ‘established’ and afford kids by their early or mid 20s.
5) Change zoning regulations and various public transportation laws, along with establishing real order to greatly increase the number of “desirable” areas for people to live and have kids in. consider either setting up childcare/daycare subsidies or setting up (obviously optional) state daycare as a means to both make it easier for the middle/upper classes to work and have kids, as well as to get the underclasses more willing to work(no more worrying about handling the kids). Of course, the economy being set up as a healthier model will help on it’s own but civilization needs everything it can get.
Summary: Modern culture is overcentralized, aimed at the worst and generally encouraging decivilization. What halfway decent, or even actually good stuff is either something that barely slipped through the cracks, or is the 5% of Japanese stuff that’s decent enough to actually merit being exported. These days, even the decent anime is thin on the ground, while the atrocious reality television remaisn triumphant. The goal of the new regime’s cultural policy would be to reverse these trends.
1) Abolish all forms of (protective) IP legislation such as trademarks and copyright. Make everything be in the public domain. Go beyond just ending the copyright monopoly to actively funding digitization and uploading of these cultural items. If necessary make this operation be at least partially self-financing by say selling collections of stuff on DVD/CD(Reaction.torrent, now on CD! The complete Sonichu, “The best of 1950s b movies)).
2) Create a few large networks and radio stations designed to push both high culture, as well as the more civilized forms of popular culture — the pop station playing Jazz and modern classical, “movie night” featuring say Citizen Kane. Think in many ways the non-news vision of the BBC(high culture, promoting civilization), but without the BBC’s flaws(news and getting into (overt) propaganda. Leave the overt propaganda to private citizens.
3) Reverse media consolidation outside of the new stations. Force the big media companies to sell off the local stations. Go back to the old situation of many different local or regional radio/TV stations. Issues of cultural consolidation via the internet will solve themselves once media consolidation is taken care of, crocodiling no longer a viable plan for handling people whose tastes/ideology you disagree with(economic reform+a reactionary freedom of speech law).
4) Vastly increase library budgets, and require them to put this extended budget in 1) books 2) rebuilding appealing appearences 3)ebooks 4) other multimedia. If they want more computers, they’ll have to get the local community to raise it for them.
5) Place most modern academic criticism-related literature on the Index librorum prohibitorum and leave the list mostly at that. Exceptions to this policy of non-censorship can be made for either literature that’s both extremely low-quality and extremely degenerate(twilight, 50 shades of grey) or some of the most potent blue-pills(It will probably be have to be policy to only sell Chomsky books that have been annotated and including comments from properly reactionary points of view on the margin for a few generations).
