When I make cartoons (like Cirque du Yogi, Space Ghost (2016) and The Gratuitous Adventures of Butch & Femme) I fear they are not contemporary enough in their aesthetics or their style of humor/anything else. They feel tepid or like they came from the 1990s.

I am dated.

i guess

it's just that that thing (and a lot of others of its era) doesn't seem to have held up too well to me

the jerky, unnatural sentence-mixing, the repetition of "my gay bulges" well past the point when it was funny at first
