  I have cut a caper with the dancing mad god

  You know, I used to love grasshoppers when I was growing up. I'd always catch them in our yard during the summer. Now I hate them and am a little scared of them, though. I don't really know why my feelings changed, since it's not as though I had a bad experience with them or anything.

  There's a park-and-ride near my house where a lot of waterfowl (can't remember if they're ducks or seagulls) congregate, and yes, they poop prodigiously. All over the sidewalks, in fact. :P
